from Argentina.
We belong to a new creative generation where 3D and AI redefine
what’s possible. At Ánimo, we don’t just design — we build brand
worlds through visuals that move, connect, and evolve.
From concept to final delivery, we turn imagination into reality
— with precision, soul, and purpose.
Where ideas
meet people
that make
them human.

I’ve always been a fan of great stories. I grew up immersed in Star Wars, DC Comics, and anime, while being influenced by masters like Van Gogh, Dalí, and Michelangelo. That passion for fantastic worlds pushed me to ask: How do they make this? What tools do they use? How do they paint, animate, or build these scenes?
That curiosity became my engine, pulling me closer and closer to technology.
Little by little, I stepped into CGI and eventually found my “zone” —that sweet spot where technology meets art to expand what’s possible.

My relationship with technology has always been tied to fun. My first contact with a computer was playing Zuma in my dad’s office. Years later, when I finally got my own PC at 15, the feeling stayed the same: this is fun.
What started as games and drawings turned into photo and video editing, and eventually evolved into animation and 3D. The same thread connects everything I do: approaching each discipline with an optimistic “this looks fun.”
And while 3D monopolizes most of my entertainment, I like balancing it with something more romantic and timeless. When I step away from the screen, I find myself listening to the vinyl records my father left me, or hiking out to photograph mushrooms with the old cameras I inherited from my grandfather.
I love living between the digital and the analog —one foot in the future, and the other firmly rooted in the eternal.

Since I was a kid, I saw the world as if it were a camera: closing one eye, blinking like a shutter, imagining I was photographing and filming everything. A strange kid, yes —but one with a vivid imagination and an early calling.
Then came a real camera. Then a computer. And suddenly I was spending endless nights editing, experimenting, learning… discovering the magic of telling stories through images.
My parents gifted me a PC and pushed me forward.
In 2007, Estudio Ánimo was born —the place I always dreamed of working in, and still love working in today.
I’m an industrial designer, a rally photographer (yes, one of those who enjoys ending a shoot covered in mud), a musician, and a collector of cables, lenses, and impossible projects.
All of this shaped who I am today: director and co-founder of Estudio Ánimo with my lifelong friend. I’m a sensitive, detail-oriented person who genuinely enjoys teamwork and leading projects —guiding ideas until they become something real, using technology and collective talent as the bridge.
Ideas inspire me. Watching them grow, evolve, and become something that moves people —that’s the best part.
I’m still exploring new languages: 3D, AI, and everything in between, without losing sight of the analog world. Technology changes; emotion doesn’t.
And yes… I still close one eye to frame a shot when I see something inspiring. Some habits, thankfully, no software can replace.

If this were an Air Fryer product description, I’d say it helps you prepare all your favorite crispy foods in a healthy and efficient way. But we’re talking about Tomás Fenoglio —maybe the air fryer of 3D?
He’s a tenacious nerd, a true 3D generalist devoted to procedural workflows and the magical world of nodes. In his free time he grows chili peppers, hits the gym, plays the drums, climbs mountains… and yes, stays a nerd through all of it.

I’ve always been driven by the same instinct: turning ideas into visual experiences that make people feel something. I knew at six years old that design would follow me through life, and that early intuition became the thread that shaped my entire career. Over time, I discovered how technology —when guided with intention and a good eye— can open endless ways of telling stories.
Today I lead Estudio Ánimo, the studio I co-founded with my great friend Lucas Martínez to combine two passions I’ll never let go of: creating impactful images and making ideas happen. I’m also passionate about helping brands shape their identity —bringing personality, style, and a point of view that elevates each project.
With more than twenty years working with global brands, I’ve learned that in a world full of ever-changing tools, what matters most is still the eye that makes the call —the sense of balance and clarity that gives meaning to every decision.
I’m a father of two boys, and we’re usually somewhere in the mountains. We’re overland fanatics, and many of my best ideas come from those long drives, the open landscapes, and the quiet only nature can offer.
I believe in teams, in collaboration, and in the constant pursuit of better.
And above all, I believe this: if an idea moves you, it’s time to make it happen.

My first computer wasn’t even mine —it was a gift for my aunt’s 15th birthday. That didn’t stop my younger brother and me, at 5 and 7, from making our first “short film” on it, animating a very ugly frog made out of circles in PowerPoint.
At 16 I started a graphic design course, and they encouraged me to study Visual Communication in La Plata. So off I went —studying, freelancing, learning. While I was still in school, a production company offered me a job. I said yes. I did everything: web, branding, editorial, packaging, animation, editing, apps… whatever needed to be done.
Until I discovered Blender —and the 3D world grabbed me completely.
Years later, with new tools appearing every day —AI here, machine learning there— I’m feeling that same spark again. The road turned into a highway, everything’s fun again, and I’m still learning something new every day.

I’ve been addicted to computers for as long as I can remember. Growing up an only child with a mix of MTV, Dragon Ball, and endless hours drawing, I eventually shifted from “frustrated musician” to visual artist. Graphic Design led me to photography, and photography led me straight into 3D.
I found my comfort zone creating digital worlds —but honestly, I still feel like that same kid who plays, explores, and learns with a good record playing in the background.

Driven by a constant curiosity to find new limits, Mateo De Bonis is a 3D Generalist who turned his passion for motorsports, technology, photography, and visual effects into his profession. After exploring different areas of audiovisual media and starting his career in 2020, he has built strong international experience specializing in CGI and real-time projects.
As a generalist, he understands the entire production pipeline deeply, with a strong focus on hard-surface modeling. Mateo is known for his determination, discipline, and team-first mentality —efficiency and quality over quantity.
